Exclusively for everyone

Guido de Brés looks after a total of 1,800 students and covers the whole spectrum of educational needs - from students who require additional support, to more academic learners. And to change the way they teach, they had some innovative ideas. For a start, every student was leased a tablet or laptop device - or they brought their own – and lessons were tailored to be “portable”, so students could work on assignments when and where they chose.

The school wanted to better cater for the differences between individual students in learning pathways, learning styles and learning speed. Of course, technology became an integral part of this personalised path and it helped motivate students by providing them with assignments that actively involved them, for example, in the form of games.
